Structure-preserving discretization of internal gravity wave attractors
Citadel H327
Internal gravity waves in stratified fluids exhibit the phenomenon of wave attractors,
whereby the energy is focused on a low-dimension manifold. To distinguish the relevant
physical processes, we consider structure/symmetry preserving discretizations.
We discuss relevant structure, and give numerical illustrations.
